URemovals was founded by Robert and Sandor, who knew the moving industry from the inside. Having run a man and van service in Hampshire, they saw firsthand what customers were dealing with: unreliable quotes, no transparency on pricing, and too much time spent trying to find someone they could actually trust.

That experience shaped everything about how URemovals was built. They wanted a platform that took the guesswork out of booking a mover, one where customers could enter their requirements, get matched with a vetted local driver, and have everything confirmed in minutes. Today that is exactly what URemovals delivers, without the phone calls and without the stress.

Supporting Both Sides of Every Move

URemovals was not just built with customers in mind. Man and van operators are a vital part of the moving industry, and we wanted to give them something useful too. Drivers on our platform get the tools to manage their bookings, stay in contact with customers, and pick up more work without the hassle of chasing leads or dealing with last minute cancellations.

A nearby driver means a more efficient job, fewer empty miles on the road, and a smaller footprint overall. We also contribute 1% of every booking to Stripe Climate, supporting carbon removal technology and doing our small part for something bigger.

Robert Bundsag

Robert is the technical mind behind URemovals. Before building the platform, he worked hands-on in the moving industry, running a man and van service in Hampshire. That experience gave him a ground-level understanding of what customers actually need and what drivers deal with every day. He took that knowledge and built URemovals from scratch, developing the matching algorithm, the booking system, and everything that makes the platform work. He still drives the technical side of the business today.

Sandor Bundsag

Sandor is the primary point of contact at URemovals, specialising in communication with our network of service providers. With extensive experience in the moving industry, he oversees the relationships between URemovals and the drivers on our platform, making sure every provider is properly onboarded, supported and set up to deliver a consistently good experience. When something needs sorting on the provider side, Sandor is the one who sorts it.
