Based in Mildenhall, Suffolk, URemovals serves home movers, students, small businesses and furniture shippers across the United Kingdom, and quotes are compared on price, insurance level, completed jobs and reviews.

URemovals owns no vans and employs no drivers, therefore it is a comparison and booking platform rather than a removals company. Robert Bundsag and Sandor Bundsag began building it in 2020, after running their own man and van service in Southampton, Hampshire, and URemovals Ltd was incorporated in September 2022, therefore it is an established UK platform rather than a new entrant. URemovals won Best Removals Comparison Platform 2026 at the SME News UK Transport Awards and gives 1% of every booking to Stripe Climate.

We started URemovals because booking a man and van in the UK was harder than it needed to be. Too much searching, too many vague quotes, and no real way of knowing who was going to turn up. So we built something better. You tell us about your move, our algorithm matches you with the right vetted driver based on your location, van size, stairs, timing and job requirements, and you secure your slot with a small deposit.

URemovals was founded by Robert and Sandor, who knew the moving industry from the inside. Having run a man and van service in Southampton, Hampshire, they saw firsthand what customers were dealing with: unreliable quotes, no transparency on pricing, and too much time spent trying to find someone they could actually trust.

That experience shaped everything about how URemovals was built. They wanted a platform that took the guesswork out of booking a mover, one where customers could enter their requirements, get matched with a vetted local driver, and have everything confirmed in minutes. Today that is exactly what URemovals delivers, without the phone calls and without the stress.

Robert Bundsag

Robert is the technical mind behind URemovals. Before building the platform, he worked hands-on in the moving industry, running a man and van service in Southampton, Hampshire. That experience gave him a ground-level understanding of what customers actually need and what drivers deal with every day. He took that knowledge and built URemovals from scratch, developing the matching algorithm, the booking system, and everything that makes the platform work. He still drives the technical side of the business today.

Sandor Bundsag

Sandor is the primary point of contact at URemovals, specialising in communication with our network of service providers. With extensive experience in the moving industry, he oversees the relationships between URemovals and the drivers on our platform, making sure every provider is properly onboarded, supported and set up to deliver a consistently good experience. When something needs sorting on the provider side, Sandor is the one who sorts it.
